No better time to buy than when you are ready to buy!

One of my favorite conversations when talking Real Estate is, "is it really a good time to buy now?" While home prices gained large increases in value, many people decided to hold off on their purchases until "home prices were better" The negative consequence of that was those same people that were going to wait for prices to go down are now facing higher interest rates that are projected to continue to rise, in addition to higher home prices. The good news is, a qualified buyer can still make their dream of home ownership a possibility with the help of a savvy Realtor!!
But, Nathali, when will the market "crash"?...
I believe it is very important to understand that our last market crash back in 2008 was mostly due to some predatory lending practices that ended up placing borrowers into unaffordable mortgages. Many new lending rules and regulations were set in place and are now enforced. A borrower must prove they’re qualified now as opposed to the way it was that led to the crash!
So, when is the right time to buy? In my own personal opinion, the right time to buy is WHEN YOU ARE READY TO BUY, if you are ready now, buy now. If you are not ready to buy now, get ready and buy as soon as you possibly can.
WHY? Many reasons, I'll name 3 of them what I feel are the most important:
Home Ownership, Well, it's simple, the house is YOURS to keep, sell, or give away. Appreciation: No better time to prove this concept than now, if you have been living in your home for at least 6 months you know there is probably no bank or institution that could've multiplied your investment the way today's market has been.
Stability: One of my most favorite benefits, seeing my children grow up in the same home, neighborhood, schools, social group is priceless, and while this home is a stepping stone to our next one because it is not always possible for your first home to be your dream home, but it will be the investment taking us on the road to the next one.
